Complete Scope of Work
Major Components
- Replace transformer coil
- Replace current limiting reactor (if applicable)
- Replace air core reactor(s)
- Replace all resistors
- Replace diode stacks (rectifier)
- Replace meg resistor set
- Replace low-voltage and high-voltage bushings
Tank Assembly
- New gaskets
- New pressure relief assembly
- Tank overhaul
- Clean and sandblast surface
- Apply primer coat
- Repaint in ASA 24 (blue) or ASA 61 (gray)
- Refilled with new mineral or silicone oil (per customer requirements)
- New drain valve assembly
- New hazard identification labels and nameplate
- Replace oil temperature gauge
- Replace oil level gauge
- Replace pressure/vacuum gauge
Wiring and other Accessories
- Replace fuses and fuse block
- Replace terminal block
- Inspect switch band(s) and replace switch assembly (if necessary)
- Replace surge arrestors
- Replace wiring throughout unit
- Replace all bulkhead connections and fittings
