Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the governors of most states have mandated the closure of all “non-essential” retail business. These closures are for an undefined period. NWL in Bordentown, NJ and NWL Capacitor in Snow Hill, NC are both deemed “essential” due to our military, energy and medical customers.
This means that NWL is open and operating.
The government has also ordered that all businesses maximize their efforts to allow staff to work from home in order to minimize social contact.
To comply with these national and local orders, NWL will continue its manufacturing operations, while allowing for all staff not in direct support of production to work from home.
Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Technical Support staff will be available to contact by phone and email.
As a critical supplier to NWL, it is imperative that your companies operating status is communicated and that we know if you will be able to support our manufacturing efforts during this trying time. The situation is fluid, but at this point we know of no critical supply chain stoppage.
To this date, no NWL staff member has been diagnosed with the Covid-19 virus.
In order to assure that we are not inadvertently infected, we will be limiting access to our manufacturing facilities to outside personnel without proper vetting. If there is an observation of test or inspection scheduled during this period, please start communicating earlier than normal. Please allow at least 2 weeks notification requesting entrance and be prepared to be flexible.
NWL would also like to offer the option of live video inspections as an alternative to entering the factory. Contact your sales contact to discuss this option further.
